Reading Recovery
I currently work with MTSS intervention groups in Reading and Math. I also instruct first grade Reading Recovery students.
I began teaching at Burlington Elementary School as a fourth grade teacher in 1991. After three years in the classroom, I moved into the role of the Title 1 Reading Teacher. In 1997, I went through training to become a certified Reading Recovery teacher.
My husband and I enjoy time together outdoors playing with our fur babies! We love the simple life. We’re blessed with grown children and have four precious grandchildren who fill our hearts with love!
My faith and family mean the world to me. I soak up the moments spent with my children and love each new phase of their lives. Besides teaching, I love spending time outside landscaping and can usually be found digging in the dirt during the summer months! I also enjoy reading, home decorating, being at the lake, and sitting on our porch drinking coffee! :)
