BURLINGTON

I began my school counseling career at Burlington Elementary School the 2020-2021 school year.

It has been my privilege to serve students and families as the school counselor at Burlington Elementary since 2020. 

Previously, I have been an elementary classroom teacher for eleven years in Topeka Public Schools.  I have also worked for BNSF Railway and was able to travel the western two thirds of the United States and to Canada twice.  During the summer of 2002, while still in undergrad at Washburn University, I was chosen to travel to the city of Hangzhou, the capital of China’s Zhejiang province, with a group of my peers.  For six weeks we taught the English language to Chinese students.
