In the fall of 2008 I began working for the Coffey County Special Education Cooperative in Burlington. I currently work with students who are in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades at Burlington Elementary, as well as students at Burlington Middle School, Burlington High School, Gridley Elementary School, and Southern Coffey County Junior High School.
After graduating with my master’s degree in May of 2005, I started working for the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative in Emporia. During the three years that I was there I worked with children from birth up through middle school.
I have lived in Madison for over ten years. My husband, Brian, farms and raises cattle. We have one son, Nathan, who is starting school in Madison and loves everything related to farming.
Spending time with family is my favorite thing to do. My husband, son, and I like to eat at the Olpe Chicken House, garden, and take long car rides to see farm machinery.
